RamanaFires
A worldwide network of fire circles

I wanted to write a spiritual book. At some point I noticed that the writing was moving me away from myself. Ramana's eyes brought me back.

Since then I keep asking myself one question: is there a place in this world where people truly meet? Not to learn something, not to coach anyone, not to achieve anything. Simply to sit by a fire and really talk. The way people used to. The way they still do, when the circumstances are right and the people are open.

Ramana is our compass. Not as a religion, not as a dogma. He never built a teaching, never gathered followers. He simply pointed inward. That is exactly what we do.

RamanaFires is a private, non-public, non-profit network of fire circles. Each circle has at most nine people — because a circle of this size has a different quality than twenty. Everyone can see everyone. Every voice lands. That is precisely where the potential lies for conversations that truly change something.

The network works analog. Nine central cities, nine phone numbers. Whoever has one can call and ask which fire circles are happening near their next destination — and receives more numbers. Over time a worldwide web of hundreds of thousands of people grows. No app, no platform, no algorithm.

The network offers friendship, protection, living space and space for conversation — in good times and in difficult ones. Not as a promise. As lived practice.

A notebook with 9 phone numbers. A phone. Hundreds of thousands of RamanaFires friends around the world.

Stay by the fire

We write rarely — and when we do, something real has happened.
